Printer won't print

Hello fellas, I have an Epson NX130. When I went to print today, it said to replace Cyan cartridge. I don't know why this happens because I chose to print in greyscale. So what I did was I removed the stupid cartridge and now nothing happens. I get this:

I don't know why I have to buy a colour cartridge if I am printing a damn document in black & white!!!!

Some printers are stupid and need all the cartridges in. You should however, still be able to print gray scale after just acknowledge the message. to replace the cartridge.

When you click on print, go into the properties of the printer to see if you change the setting to print in grayscale instead. I had to do that years ago when I ran out color ink.

Thanks gentlemen. Yes I have chosen to print in greyscale in properties but still the same thing ;(
