Problem with WINRAR file

I download few file from a web site with extension winrar when I try to extract those file I keep geting the following error message " No archives found " try different file and get most of them with same problem , my winrar does work on other file but not on this ones what can I do then

It could be a split archive, meaning you'll need all parts downloaded into the same directory before attempting to unrar.

It could also mean you have 'broken downloads', iow not the complete archive/s.

i save the files into one directory and still have the same problem does that mean that the file is corrupted ?
