Hi all. ive been playing and converting avi's for a while now. but now i have a problem where some avi files won't play in any of the usual players, and more importantly, won't convert anything other than black screen. these avi's play fine in vlc media player, but when converted or played in winamp/windows media they won't work.
when i play the file, the black screen comes up and the time of the movie appears as if it will start counting, but it never counts.. it's like its on pause or something..
i have downloaded and used the k-lite codec pack up until now, real alternative as well as the cccp codec pack. is there something else im missing? ANY help would be really appreciated. thank you...
