heres my what my new Pc's spec are gonna be

CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme 6800 2.9GHz

RAM - 2000 MB DDR II 800 Memory (Kingston HyperX)

Motherboard - ASUS Striker Extreme SLI nForce 680i Mother Board

Hard Drive 1 -Western Digital Raptor 150GB ( for the OS system )
Hard Drive 2 -Western Digital Raptor 400GB ( for general storage )

Gfx Card - ATI R600

( - heres a off topic question. How much Gfx Cards can that mobo have pluged into it? )

Now over the next 6 - 12 months new gfx cards better then the 8800 Gtx will come out. Now my plan is; instead of replacing my 8800GTX with a better gfx card ( when the time comes ) ill simply just...add another one and make my 8800GTX and the new gfx card SLI. So my question is. Can u inter - link or " SLI " two differnt Gfx cards?

... thanks guys :)

nope, for a start nvidia use SLI whereas ATi uses Crossfire

but as stated before they need to be the same GPU core to be run together
