Just a quick one, say i bought a Official XP Key online and used a official disk that has a key in the box, can i install windows using that disk and a different key that i got online?
As long as the key was made for that type of windows you installed yes. But why would you purchase another key if it already came with one? Was this key already used?
yeah the key that came with the disk is an XP Home OEM and installed on my mothers laptop. i need a new key, im guessing if i buy a key that is for XP Home OEM, the disk i have would accept the key, right?
