Quick RAM question

So I just ordered two gigs of RAM of off newegg, which means I will have three all together now. I am also going to install Windows 7 64-bit. First off will Windows 7 64-bit be fine with three gigs? And will I notice a difference from going from 1 gig to three gigs?

With Windows 7 64 bit (running aero of course) my RAM meter gadget stays just under 50% for most everyday tasks. Not sure about when gaming. 4 GB RAM, BTW--so 2GB is probably fine and you've got 3.
