I have a EVGA E758 motherboard with 6 gb of g.skill ram. The bios currently is set so that the ram runs at 1066. Its 1600 mhz ram and whenever i go into bios to chane it to 1600 my computer doesnt post. It turns on all fans, lights, etc but no bios beep nothing. Do i need to adjust timing or voltages to get it to run 1600 mhz?

Just read of someone else having same issue. G.skill support says because its a i7 board it can only run at 1333 mhz max is this true?

You need to change voltages and timings as well. look on the sticks and it will give you these. It should be able to run regardless.
