Random Tabs Opening

I have been having problems with some obscure search engines opening, usually when I navigate to a new page. Yesterday it was at its worst. While searching Google, every site redirected me to other sites. I updated Firefox - Ran CCleaner, AVG Scan, and SUPERAnti Spyware with no luck.

Wow, how did I miss this thread??? I'm truly sorry for missing this. You should have sent me a private message about this thread.

Anyways, you have an old version of AVG installed which needs to be uninstalled and then you can download and install a better free antivirus such as Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials. If you are still having issues please do the following.

Note: AVG must be uninstalled before the following program will run.

Download and Run ComboFix
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.

• Download this file here :
  
  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/combofix
  
• Then double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
• When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.

• The ComboFix log
• A fresh HiJackThis log
• An update on how your computer is running
