Recommendations for DD-WRT router

I want to configure the router for VPN usage, everything on the network instead of using client software, thanks!

I have that router. I used to run DD-WRT as well as Tomato, but I found that even though it had lots of features and options I preferred the new Asus firmware that came out a year ago or so, which has improved signal strength and speed more so than any custom settings on DD-WRT. The Asus firmware also has better support for using the USB ports to run a hard drive as an SMB/FTP share space than any of the third party firmwares.
