I got a very annoying spyware on my PC & I can't get rid of that
bloody spyware, could someone tell me how to remove it.

It kept change my Homepage to about: blank, not to mention the annoying
Pop-up adverts, also when I click on some links, it open a different
site other than the one that I want to open.

I tried to run Ad-aware & Yahoo. Anti-Spyware program but to no result,
I looked at the add/Remove list & tried to delete a program that I
suspect might be behind this & it called "Shopping Wizard" but
every time I try to removed it, I get this message
[Unable to open http://looking-for.cc/uninstall/ ShoppingWizard.html]

I'd be very grateful if anyone could tell me how to solve this
problem, I've a broadband & using XP professional.

Sometimes you need to make sure there isn't a process running that keeps you from deleting the spyware. Make sure nothing related is in the system tray and shut down any processes you can identify (ctrl-alt-del, Task Manager - Processes). You can't hurt too much shutting down processses...you just might need a reboot. If you can't identify anything, try searching your registry. These types of spyware also put exe's in the root of your drive or your program files directory so do a search on the name as well. Spyware is devious and evil.

If you can locate a download of HiJack This, it works fairly well also.

Hope this helps.

Have you cleaned out your Temporary internet files, cookes etc

shut down any processes you can identify (ctrl-alt-del, Task Manager - Processes)

And also stop them from starting up msconfig.....but sometimes they have have registry/file that load themselves into the task manager/msconfig no matter how many times you kill it/stop it, thats when you get a task manager program.

if i reset my internet options to default i can open and close IExpl. and about:blank page does not comes back, but when computer restart it returnes.

Worse comes to worse you could always try a different internet Browser such as Mozilla Firefox, I have to use it because whenever I open anything with internet explorer the cpu jumps to 100% so it takes 4ever to load a page
