Hello, this is my first post on these forums. My apologies if I have used the incorrect subforum for this question... I could just really use some help!
I recently purchased a new Dell desktop. I hooked up an older ACER monitor to it. I mainly use it for gaming, so I need to have a good/correct screen resolution. However, I'm currently using 1152x864 but I keep getting popups telling me that my correct resolution is 2048x1152. I can also tell that when i am gaming, my resolution is weird. When i try to change to any resolution above 1152x864, my monitor will go black and say "input not supported". What is the reason for this and how can I fix it? Thanks!
