System Recovery on Acer Laptop that has Vista

I just got this Acer laptop from my brother....its an Extensa 4420..its pretty good but can get slow sometimes even though ill just be browsing facebook

anyways ive never used vista or even windows 7 other than browse on this computer

How would I do a system recovery or factory reset on this laptop that has vista?

Do you do it from the control panel or press f10 at startup or something?

Why not just do a fresh install? It would be the easiest. Fresh install, Drivers are easy to get (i have an acer myself).

If you did do a fresh install, go windows 7, so much faster.
