tv tuner for dish network

is there such a thing and will there ever be if not? and how do u feel does anyone els want one lol and what im talking about is like a tv tuner card that would work with dish but i wouldn't need a set top box

I highly doubt that there will ever be a tuner card for dish network or direct tv. All the components required couldn't fit on a small card like that.

The only tuners I have heard of are for cable (cable card tuners).

Nagra 3 (which dish network uses) has not been hacked yet.
If you want to go that route you need a dvb card to start. I'm sure my post will be deleted.
DVB was working on Nagra 2. But now with the card swap we are at Nagra 3.
