Hello;

I would like to know if this is backward compatible. My MB
is 2.0 I was wondering if this will work.

I wanted the 6850 by ASUS, which was a 2.1 but they are not selling it anymore. This is the 10.00 more than the one I wanted.

For future reference, PCI-e cards are backwards compatible.

They're selling 7 models of 6850's.
Also, if you're motherboard supports 2.0 but the card is a 3.0 - your motherboard can't take advantage of all the bandwidth so it will just run it at 2.0 instead.
