Video prog. needed immediatly

I am almost dying for a new video software that is not just the typical Windows Video Maker. I want something that profesionals use. SOMETHING AMAZING with effects and all.

I want to buy it. Please help.

Hehe. It just seems that everyone points fingers (good ones) at Windows Movie Maker. Its not what someone in a studio uses I want something that might be hard to figure out but turns out with great movies.

Uhmm. Im willing to go long about 200 but if it is possible to get a very good one with less.

quite like adobe photoshop, but for video not still pictures..
a bit pricey though, ive never used it before.

got mac then get final cut, if on pc then get adobe something... but then you get the effects we all are dreaming off, otherwise you can buy things like pinnacle studio 10 ro something like that, it sucks ass but WAY better than windows movie maker

premier is an outstanding program we used it in highschool and i still use it now in college for all my video editing its very professional and will even to matting and greenscreens and more.
