I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop and I just reformatted my harddrive and installed XP SP2 (I've always had it, but the system crashed and I had reinstall.) I put on Avast and Adaware. I downloaded all the drivers and Real Player and Divx. Everything was going great and playing great until I downloaded all of the updates from Microsoft and now my mouse sticks on the screen whenever I move it across. But not bad, it's more like it's just a split second. When I play any video, it also stalls for a split second every 4-5 seconds into play. It's really annoying cause you can't really watch anything. Does anyone know why it would do this?
