Videos won't play on my laptop

Videos won't play on my laptop for some reason. I can't play youtube videoes or anything. It'll load but then it'll stop after 2 seconds. Does anyone know why this happened? It was working fine before I downloaded a bunch of updates from Microsoft.

Strange. I have never heard this happening to anybody. Did you try clicking refresh? Are you running XP or Vista?

It's XP. I don't know what the problem is. I have the latest Flash and DivX. It's like it'll play for 2 seconds and then just stop.

Never heard of this problem either... unless the updates are still downloading and you have an 56k connection??
