Hi i was wondering if i should go for air or water cooling on my gaming pc just to cool it a bit more so it runs more effectatly on high end games. What sort of benifits will i get as im running a stock cooler atm.

i am looking to spend £40 - £60 on a air or water cooling system.

Thanks Zach

Difference between an all-in-one water cooler and a high-end air cooler are small. You will get about the same temps with a $30 air cooler as you would with a $60 water cooler.

But with water coolers, you get quieter performance, much more easy to install, and they give you space in your case, especially since they don't cover the RAM slots.

Claptonman pretty much nailed it. If you want proper water cooling youre going to need to spend 10 times your current budget.

Water cooling is only necessary when you want a full-cover gpu block IMO.

Im not sure what you mean. Besides the fact that I think we're talking about CPU, what is the basis of water cooling is only necessary when you want full cover ?? Are you saying its only worth it if you use full cover GPU block?
