I was at

And it just is not working for me I can not Log In or anything.

Do you know of a free web hosting site that lets you have things like if I ad music or animation?

Try x10hosting.com. They are the best free host available in the market, offering everything comparable to other premium hosts.
I have been using them to host all kind of websites for about 2 years (and continuing).
The only thing they require from you is that you should log into their forum once a month, which is not a problem.

Let me use my win xp pro Networ Places to upload my files to the site?

I think it would be FTP right?

Ok I got an account at x10hosting.com

And I got the e mail sent to me and confarmed my e mail adress.
Then I Loged Into my account.

And all is setup.

Now I am trying to setup my
win xp pro Network Places

But it is not working when I am doen and click Finish it trys to connect to my Website.

Then says
windows can not open this folder.

I think it is how I fiout one window in Netwok Places.


The windows says
Internet or network adress

So I type in my sub domain
robertsartgallery.x10.mx

but if this is an FTP site I put
FTP://FTP.

infront of it anyway both ways don't work.

What am I not doing right

You can try using any other FTP client to transfer your files onto your website. I use Filezilla, which is more than enough for me. Alternatively, you can zip archive (remember, .zip, nor .rar) your files, and upload it using the file manager provided into the cPanel, and then unzip the archive. This saves time and very easy to handle.

Just remember to use the following paramenters:
FTP host: ftp.yoursite.com (In your case, ftp.robertsartgallery.x10.mx)
Username & Password: the name you use to log into the cPanel. Keep in mind that the username to log into cPanel are different from what you use to log into the x10hosting account control.

Thanks but can I use my win xp network places?

It is the same thing as FileZila?

I ask because I can't set it up my network places is giving me a hard time?

OK this is what I di

In My Network Places I go through the steps.

Step 1. pick the type of website you want to connect to MsN or Other I pick Othor.

Step 2. Type the name of the Forler or address I put
ftp.robertsartgallery.x10.mx

Step 3. do I want to Loning Ananomisly and the box is grayedout and there is a checkmark in it.
So I take the check mark out of the box and now I can type my Password.

Then I click Finish and it takes me back to network Places folder with my Icone in it.

So I Dabble click it and it trys to connect and a window opens.

Windows can not open this folder it is Invalit??????????????

OK it's me again I just got some help from the forum but I think I will be looking for a new Free Hosting site.

They told me to reset my password because they never need one so my site is Compromized.

And I need diferant usernames for diferant thngs. on the site.
So I don't wont all these Usernames to do diferant things with.

In My Network Places, the place where you enter the address, enter this: ftp://yoursitename.com/public_html/
In your case, it should be ftp://robertsartgallery.x10.mx/public_html/
