Where in room to put sub?

Hey guys, I have these altec Lansing 2:1 speakers. I have the sub located about a foot to the right of my computer. Where should I put it to get the best bass? Here's a photo of the area I'm dealing with, thanks!

in the opposite corner of the room that you sit in its called corner loading some like the sound some dont
low frequencies are longer then high frequencies you want to try and give the frequency as much room to expand before it hits you without making it TOO much
