Which Laptop To Get?

I have no idea on models of laptops and computers and stuff. I'm more of a software kinda guy.

I want a laptop with like a max price of €500.

I'll be running a few programs at the once, so it should have decent memory. I'm not really bothered with things like gaming. Thats why I have a PS3.

Toon Boom, Photoshop, FL Studio, Audacity and programs like that is what I'll be using, incase it changes anything.

Any suggestions?

What nation are you ordering from? That will determine what is available to you.
When we know, we can make some specific recommendations.

I couldnt find a 14R and 15R is like €550, and when I say max is €500 I really mean MAX.

How is the Inspiron 15? I see they go from about €375. I'm really only looking for a standard laptop which has enough memory to store these programs and whatever I make of them, and enough (RAM?) to run them without everything going really slow.

Upping. If someone could tell me what I've to even look for would be helpful. I want these programs to run without the PC jamming up, and I want it to have pretty good memory. Can you just tell me what I should be looking for in the way of like processors and RAM etc. and how much of each should I be looking for.

a 15r would be pretty good, Dell is a good solid brand. If you wanna pay a little more, and have a more reliable laptop, then go for Toshiba.

As I said, 15R runs for like €550. Like literally €500 is MAXIMUM. I appreciate the responses, but I'm pretty damn broke :D. I'm not looking for maximum performance, just a good laptop which will run this stuff without too many problems for up to €500.

Avoid the Asus g53 series I went through two from amazon within 4 days I didn't even see a welcome screen from windows because the monitors on the laptops were jet black. Asus said it was a graphics card issue. Waste of time and money.

I found a guide to the general things I should be looking at, like processers and RAM and stuff and how they apply to the running of programs (considering that I passed a course in college about it should have had it already done :D).

Anyways, can someone just give me a quick list of laptops that are good and bad. Like brands, not specific models. I hear HP is awful based on a few other threads around here, and someone in here said ASUS was good (another saying its bad), so if someone could give me a quick list it'd help me out a lot.

Hey buddie, look at this:

I think this is a good machine for you and near of your budget. Hope you can get it in Ireland or at least in UK. Notice that its GPU is not built-in but dedicated, which is very important. Further MSI is manufacturing laptops of quality with great demand.
