I need to find a computer for my Mom.
She is very simple: plays jigsaw, Mahjongg.. Does not even have internet.

She had Pentium 4 1.8 recently but MB is bad so would like to get her one that is new...ish, Refurbish because you can find lower end (not gaming type) systems at a good price.

She defiantly wants a Small form factor type to put on her desk.

These are the ones I have come down to and I want you opinion because I have heard some have overheating, power supply.......Problems.
I could get her faster Pentium 4 but I can get a Core 2 Duo for about the same price.

What are your thoughts on listed below?

HP Compaq dc7700 Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86GHz 2GB 80GB CD-RW/DVD Windows 7 Home Premium Ultra-slim Desktop
Model#: DC7700U-C2D186-MAR-2R - $139.99

HP Compaq dc7700 Small Form Factor - Intel Core 2 Duo 2.1GHz, 1GB DDR2, 80GB HDD, Combo, Windows 7 Home Premium
Model#: RB-DC7700C2D - $159.99

Dell OptiPlex 755 Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33GHz 2GB 80GB CD-RW/DVD Vista Business Small Form Factor
Model: OptiPlex 755 SFF - $149.99

Thanks,
Debbie

i will go for this one, and regarding overheating issue and power supply it depends on your environment and usage, make it rest and good room temperature

E6550 faster than E6300

that dell would be best, it's only draw-back is it's running vista, but upgrades are cheap and it does everything anyways so whatever

Definitely take the Dell. I've got one sitting around here with a C2D E7200 and it rocks pretty hard for an old computer. They're nice and small as well.
