Option 1
Sell 5770 for 75 then purchase 6950 for $200. Net loss 125

Option 2
Trade 5770 for 6850 plus $25

Depends on what settings you want for your games. If you want medium-high settings at 1080, a 6850 is fine. But if you want the extra power and get high-ultra settings, the 6950 is the way to go. Just depends if the extra FPS/settings are worth that much to you.

Well I'm at 1600 x 900. Obviously the 6950 would be nice to have and would probably last a while but I also feel the 6850 seems like the more logical choice due to my lower resolution.

6950 all the way, a 6850 won't be much of an upgrade from a 5770 really. I spoke to you last night about what to get so you know my thoughts.

Is there no option hd6870?
I can play most of my games on highest with 1920x1080. So with 1600x900 it's a killer.

Not a bad idea but I'm only selling to friends. Can't use Ebay or Craigslist.

Well general consensus is 6950 I see... I'll see what my budget prospects look like at the time.
