The G.SKILL Phoenix Series Solid State Drive is going to likely have over double the read speed and probably three times faster write speeds over your Western Digital Black Edition 7200 RPM hard drive. I would keep the Western Digital 2 terabyte hard drive as data storage and use the solid state drive for your operating system.
Also know that a Solid State Drive requires a little more configuration time to get it up and running at the proper speed over a normal rotating hard drive.
