Ha! Believe it or not but I just bought the third one. I love it. I would definitely go for it. The 100 cm cord is great. I am about 2 rooms away and always good a good stable connection. The software is a little bit weird. Are you going to be using it in XP. I am currently using mine in 2000. Which believe it or not works great.

in xp or vista you dont need to use the software supplied, just the drivers

you can tell it to use WZC instead (windows zero configuration) which was introduced in sp2, which lets you configure it via network connections like standard.

That's correct. But, since I am running Windows 2000. I had to install the annoying drivers. But, they are OK it slows down my computer a little bit. But like jdbennet said if you are using XP or Vista definitely use the Windows Zero Config Utility.
