There really shouldn't be much to emulate. the xbox is already a PC.

well it does have a HD, soundcard, dvdplayer(gotta buy adapter, but you also have to buy a DVD player seperate for a PC...not built-in), internet features(same thing as DVD player)...and you have to buy a special controller just liek a keyboard an mouse for a computer, and you need a TV (just like a PC needs a monitor.
the fact that it's almost non-upgradable turns me away from it, and many other consoles. i hate running ANYTHING stock...i have to be able to tweak it to like it. There are mods you can do to it and you can add memory...but it's just not the same as a PC. as for overpriced...i would say $80 would be overpriced...as the games are usually $30-$40 a piece, and whats the use of the XBOX (besides DVD player) if you ain't got a game? PC has manyy more options besides gaming that keep me on it for hours on end.
