ITS A GAME!

Theres too many stupid little things these days that start off our Asian friends to say ohh thats "Racist" its ridiculous .

I was amazed that it was this game too.....c'mon its like the cutest game ever, how nit-picky would you have to be to find something offensive? Srsly, GTA4 wasn't delayed because it offended someone....why this game?

So this game is supposed to be good?

It looks so basic and crappy..I was really surprised that its 'highly anticipated'

It is a platformer game attached to a really sweet physics engine. You can make you own levels and contraptions and just have fun.

look at this level

it was completely user-created. Just amazing. If you don't wanna watch all of it, at least check out the mechanical dragon at the end. (at about 6:35)

So its essentially a graphically better Sonic the hedgehog?

I dunno, I must be missing something, it just doesn't scream epic to me? Looks like a freeware demo for children!

Is there a playable demo somewhere?

nope, it is only on PS3. It is very hard to describe. It's like trying to describe Portal, it is just too different to put in words. If you have ever played Garys Mod for HL2 then that could give you the idea of the creative stuff you can do with it, except on a more 2 dimensional plane.

The little character dude is completely controlled by the PS3 controller:
Players may... control each arm independently through the analogue sticks, slap other players by jerking the arm movement through analogue stick, and use the Sixaxis motion-sensing functionality to animate the character's head and body. Further Sixaxis functionality includes shaking the controller to release the jetpack item.

Lots of creation tools:
Players may create new objects by starting with a number of basic shapes, such as circles, stars and squares, and then "painting" the shape of the object into the level. Objects may also be glued to each other or to the level. More mechanical features are also available, such as connecting objects together with string, using bolts to spin objects, or using various kinds of trigger, as well as jets which may be attached to surfaces to propel them.
materials, which act in a manner physically similar to those they represent, such as cloth being soft, rubber having grip, and wood being tough, to objects that are built with mechanical components, such as motors, pistons, jets, wires and springs. As well as these objects, levels contain dangers that players must avoid, and these include objects or platforms that have been set on fire, whilst explosives that can damage Sackboy if he strays too close can also be used to blow up sections of the level.

I haven't played it but it just looks sweet and the possibilities are awesome.

If you watched the youtube video, that dragon was made out of basic shapes and animated using the physical properties of strings and motors. It is all in the physics.

Well I will reserve further judgement till I play it...

Most games dont really impress me and I'm not a PS3 fan, or console fan really..

I have doubts about most games but anything I can just create and play with, interests me a lot and this game is just one of those games. I hate that it is only on console since this game just screams PC but oh well, there are a couple other PS3 games I want to I might as well get a PS3.

simple mistake, figures you would be the one to point it out

Eh, I just hate how Muslims get such a bad rep in the states and by misinformed white people. Not calling you out or referring to you specifically, but people do not realize there are 1.8 billion Muslims world-wide and only a few of them are radical extremists. Most of them are just like me and you and just want to live peacefully with their families.

On the other hand I also get so fed up with this over PC crybaby crap we have to put up with. If I crack a joke at something, get over it, it was a joke. I am curious to what the exact quotes from the Qur'an were to make them pull the game.

My little brother is a store manager of a Gamestop and he had told me the recalled a bunch of swag that they were going to give out with the game. I wonder if that also pertains to the Muslim thing going on right now.

I wasn't saying anything condescending about the Muslim faith it was more of a joke than anything, if I was making a valid argument about it I'm sure I would have caught my mistake.

I just hate anyone that get offended by simple, stupid stuff like that.
