Good Case Brands?

My birthday is in exactly 3 weeks, and my dad said he'd get me a specific case if i wanted one (i didn't end up getting the CM Elite 332). Of course, i do want one, but which brands are good, known and reliable?

I want a case that has a clear side panel and room for 120mm fans, possibly 140mm. I know the antec 300 has lots of 120mm fans ( 7 i believe) but it has no clear side panel.
I don't know what the budget is but i think it will be $150-$200 AU.
Suggest some cases that fit the criteria and which stores have them (online is ok, but then you have to pay for postage and wait for delivery and worry about whether the courier is too enthusiastic about soccer)

My cousin has a nice coolermaster case, but i don't know which model. It has a clear side panel and the front bezels are made from mesh... It's a nice case and i would love to have one. The fans in it have blue led's if that helps.

Pictures of your suggested case would be nice! :D

I recommend the case I have. Cooler Master CM 690 Black Edition. Supports 3 140 mm (2 top, 1 bottom) 3 120 mm (1 front, back, and side)

Good luck finding one though. However, you can buy a CM 690 standard and then get the windowed side panel separate for about the same cost.

I think i will do that... the storm scout looks nice also.
the 922 costs a fair bit.

EDIT: I'm going to go for the storm scout...
Megabuy.com.au doesn't have any coolermaster products. :(
You guys know any good online computer stores in aus? as long as they have paypal then i'm willing to use them.

That's a good case... the V9 is cheaper than the storm scout...
But the storm scout looks so cool!

I would take the Thermaltake V9 over the Storm Scout. The Storm Scout lacks a lot of room on the inside. It looks nice, but can barely fit a GTX 260 in.

Is the 4850 longer or shorter than the GTX 260?
On second thought the V9 is a better option...

Yer but the V9 is complete rubbish for cable management if your bothered about it that is to be honest if your not worried on size and want to fit loads in go for a CoolerMaster CM Storm Sniper its what i use and it has great cooling and cable management ;) and not forgetting the looks PHOAR! :)

Yeah, but the Storm Sniper is a ridiculously huge case. Close in size to the HAF 932! I believe also out of the OP's price range. (Not exactly sure on AUS prices, probably similar to here.)

The Antec 902 would probably be the best case, imo.

$150 AU would be about $131 USD and $200 AU would be about $174 USD. So in USD his price range is about $130-$175. You also have to take in to consideration that it is harder for him to find cases and he also has to account for shipping.

And also the fact that prices aren't equivalent to exchange rates. ;) Things cost much more here because they have to shipped by air or sea here, unlike the US.

Pccasegear has cheaper sotrm scouts than anywhere else. I'll look into the storm sniper.
I read a review on the V9 saying the top part was held together with flimsy clips and that all of them broke in shipping.
PC case gear has a lot of good cases for cheaper. much better than ebay or megabuy. I could always go with the CM 690 with a window. And they are all in my price range :D

EDIT: Too bad they don't use paypal.
