Windows 7 GOD MODE

Everyone was talking about this God Mode in Windows 7 and finally did it as soon as I upgraded to Windows 7. I hate to let go of my XP but the upgrade is being called for.

God Mode is just like an ordinary folder to put together the controls in a one place like Control Panel, Accessibility options and etc.

Here's how you do it:

1. Create a new folder anywhere.(Desktop I suggest)
2. Rename it GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
3. The folder's icon that looks like a control panel. Every controls will be in there. Handy!

Have fun playing God Mode!

I've seen this before, but i was too lazy to do it lol.

Just remember that it works on Vista x86, 7 x32, and 7 x64, but NOT on Vista x64 for some reason.

This is everything control panel should have been.

awesome! thanks. that was easier than i figured it would be. i am assuming this is standard for all of them... why would they add this? why not just have the control panel be like this instead of having to go through these steps?

You can rename it to anything you want. It doesn't have to be GodMode. As long as you have everything else that follows it.

Well I gave it a try and it completely f$%^$# my computer. Windows explorer just keeps restarting, and I can't do anything. I tried safe mode and naturally I disabled restore points. Does anyone know how to fix this? I don't feel like spending my whole day reinstalling Vista. BTW it's Vista home premium 64 bit.

Alright problem solved. Had to go into safe mode with command prompt and remove it from there. I'm going to get Windows 7 next payday, have had nothing but issues with Vista since I installed it a few weeks ago.

So I did the same thing, tried to create a GodMode folder and now Windows Explorer just keeps restarting. What do I do after starting the computer in safe-mode w/ command prompt?
