Here's a few, enjoy


if you make a shortcut and link it to "shutdown -s" (without the quotes). when you double click this shortcut it will shut down the computer. this can be used for many amusing purposes...(change the shortcuts icon to the Recycle Bin icon and name it "recycle Bin")


Blue Screen of Death screen saver (very nice)



GUN. this gun blows holes in you screen and makes a bang!

he he, very good, i like the one where you take a screen shot of the desktop, save it and set it as background, then hide the task bar, de-select "view desktop icons" so they all dissapear, but it still looks like they are there because of the screenshot as a desktop background, he he he, it takes hours for n00bs to figure it out.

Personal experience, i actually restarted a couple of times vbefore i actually realised the start bar was hidden, then i twigged and went into the icons. He He, thats a very good one.

I tried that and my firewall intercepted it .... :p

we did one better. We set a friends background to a rather comprimising picture and then edited the .dll controlling the display properties so that the change background tab no longer existed and the set background option was no longer availible in the right click menu. We also named the file something like reglog.sys and made it hidden.

There were also instances of changing the titles of his windows and some fun using backoffice.

Suprisingly it took him a while to learn to lock his computer. But we took care of that by setting his bios password for him.

We also hid another friends wireless mouse inside his computer case. Oh the fun we had

another good one is to take a screen shot, cut out the task bar, set it as the background and disable viewing of desktop icons, then every thing will work except there desktop icons, very confusing to a n00b :D

LOL very nice ... but how do you link the Icon lol? when u create a shortcut icon is it the traget u set to shutdown -s ..?? i tried that but it didnt work ...

I know one myself but i kind of forget it ... its a pop up saying u have won a free Can holder for when u are at the pc ... To Recive this Holder click this Link or so ... and Ur Drive Pops out ur pc lol ....

Copy and paste this into the target field

C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe -s

:D

Well, what I did was not nearly as good as the pranks you guys have done but it was funny regardless. At work, there is a girl who barely knows how to check her email. I was getting ready to print off about one hundred copies of a bi-annual newsletter we send to our clients so I wanted to lock everyone else out of our main lasterjet printer. I was looking in the queue to make sure no one was printing anything when I saw she was (the girl who doesnt know anything) printing something. I promptly cancelled her printjob. I watched her get up, walk to the server room to look in the printer tray only to find nothing. She proceeded to try printing again, in which, i cancelled again. This went on and on for about 20 tries until she was visibly frustrated. At one point, she even suggested that the printer had "some sort of virus or something".

LOL.... About 2 months ago i asked our receptionist to order some more "Spam Filters" for our server as the old ones were all "cloged up" :D

Unfortunatly she asked some coworkers before ringing the Computer shop and promptly stopped making coffees for me.

Cant blame her though.... had given her a Blowen Desk Lamp Globe and asked her to get it 're-gassed' cos it had 'run out'.... she called the local hardware store and the guy there had to go and ask his supervisor too hehehe

Haha, i was on my dads computer when i tried gun, the window came up, and i clicked on gun, then a "panda platinum" antivirus window came up sayin' "JOKE NEUTRALIZED!" Info: jokes are harmless programs that pretend to carry out destructive actions.
Joke name:Joke/Gun

PS: Panda Platinum sucks.

BTW when my sister loges on to her desktop..... She’s gona be ticked!!!

I took a screen shot, cut out the task bar, set it as the background and disable viewing of desktop icons, and I downloaded a bunch of programs from the link Scrat provided and set them to boot up with windows. hehehe LMAO can't wait till she loges on HEHEHEHE!!! :D :D

Tell people in an online game "Hey try this! Alt+F4 gives you full health" :p Its worked many times, I used to do that to people I didn't like :D
