Help needed -> psu overload?

As you know ive been talking about a new psu because mines only 430 watt. So here is a question. With alll my new parts in my computer is randomly. Shutting down no warning just off.
The only way Ican get it back on is by unplugging, ( not reseting switch, but fully unplug it ) and then it starts. I cannot get it to stay on more than 10 mins if I get it right back on. Is my poor little psu getting overloaded thus shutting off? My cpu, gpu temps are just fine, no problems there. My motherboard is telling me everything is fine.

Not sure what GPU you have but it's very possible. Do you have another PSU you can try out?

Thanks hehe..

Anyways, the 730 only uses 49w at the max (128bit model).. If there's a store nearby that'll allow you to return an opened PSU, I recommend heading down there and snatching one up.

Otherwise, Amazon has a great return policy. It's how I got a processor to flash my BIOS before my 860K went it. + you don't pay return shipping..

As above which one? It may just be flaky or failing.

I mined coins for a while with a : A10-6800K, 2 DIMMS, 2x Radeon 6670s and SSD on a CX430 that had zero problems. Those cards have a pretty similar draw as your 730 too.

Newegg has $20 MIR on the CX600.. You'll want a modular PSU though, I'm assuming?

could be many things, check ram, remove any overclocks, replace cmos battery

I removed the overclock, and have been watching my Temps, it didn't shut off for a whole day after turning overclock off and been watching my temps. Whenever i'm watching the temps it never shuts off, I have the feeling it shuts off when it is over heating. So I canceled the CPU purchase and bought new cooling instead. I hope the new cooling stops the shut offs!

I would suggest you simply had an unstable overclock. Leave everything at stock, your computer on for a week and monitor the reliability tab within windows.

Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center\Reliability Monitor

The computer still shuts off even with 0 overclocking

Ok when you say shut off, the computer simply and unexpectedly turned off. No BSOD, no Windows is shutting down or anything like that?

Nope, Just bam dead. No power surge or any weather that would cause anything to reset, nope, just dead. And I cannot turn it back on without unplugging the PSU for 5 sec then plug it back in. Only then t turns back on.

Ok, first thing to do would be to replace the CMOS battery. You haven't replaced the PSU yet have you?
