I have installed new 4TB HDD into an old computer. Everything looks correct but computer does not work. What could be wrong?

Did you replace the existing drive with this new 4TB Drive? Did you clone the old disk to the new disk?

If all you did was install this drive and call it a day, you need to install Windows because there is nothing on the new hard drive.

Because lack of space I just disconnect the old HDD and RAM, next I put old HDD into new place, inserted the new HDD and inserted RAM.

You need to install Windows or clone the old drive then.

Just change the boot order to boot to original drive first and use your new drive for file storage.

How to change the boot order to boot to original drive first if Start button does not work?
You don't do it in Windows. You do it in the BIOS.

If you don't want to reinstall Windows, put your old drive back in, go into the BIOS, and make sure the old drive is set as the first hard drive in the boot priority menu.

If you just want to use one drive, then you will need to clone the old drive to the new one.

Now I have solved the problem with the start of computer. Sorry, it was just my lack of attention to the technical details. Computer works but does not see the new 4TB HDD.

Go into Disk Management and see if the disk shows up there. If it does, format it.

Some older computers can't detect drives as big as 4TB.

Disk Management recognizes the Disk as Disk 1 Unknown, Unallocated. What to do - Initialize Disk?

Right click the disk and initialize it as MBR. Then right click the allocated space and choose Format. Follow the wizard to format the disk and assign a drive letter and label.

Be sure to tick the box for quick format, as a full format would take hours on a 4TB drive.

It asks me about partition style - MBR or GPT?
