OK, are E6300 good for gaming and can they overclock well? I herd they can get up to 3Ghz with a good motherboard. Is this true????????????????
Not really, get this instead if your going with an E6300: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813128017
Why is the one I suggested not good and r u sure this one to go with or do you own this one and just say its good because have it and think it is? Sorry, I will be doing my next build soon and I just want the best bang for my buck.
Does that mean its pointles to buy a E6600???????

no the 6600's move into 4mb cache land, with some suprisingly larger than expected benefits....but of course, those benefits arn;t free
definately not, im getting a e6600 in my next buils, about 4 weeks away (if things go well) as others have already said, the main difference is that it has 4Mb cache as opposed to the 2Mb that the 6400 and 6300 has. It also has a higher default clock spped, so it has a step higher than the others already, and theoretically would overclock further.Does that mean its pointles to buy a E6600???????
arent free? are you referring to the extra bang on the price tag?no the 6600's move into 4mb cache land, with some suprisingly larger than expected benefits....but of course, those benefits arn;t freeDoes that mean its pointles to buy a E6600???????

Yes, I'm sure it's a good board. I don't have it, but many people do, and it overclocks very well. The board you picked isn't bad, but if your asking about overclocking the 965P-S3 will suit you better for your price range. It also has a much newer chipset (which in part is why it overclocks so well).
Plus, my MOBO that I want to get has a feature that overclocks the CPU when ever needed so it saves energy and reduces heat and YOU NEVER HAVE TO MANUALLY OVERCLOCK IT. If you play a game it will raise the speed of the CPU buy itself to make it sufficient enough for the game to play good. that's what it briefly said in the description, and others said it is a overclocks dream. can the MOBO you selected for me do that?
we generally stick with the most trusted stores, almost every high posting/regular member has, in their lifetime, bought a PC accessory or PC component from an online store, andi bet that over 95% of them bought from the top ones such as ebuyer, dabs, newegg, tigerdirect etc... another store on the web may be £10 cheaper but if no one has ever used it before, who are you going to trust, this new store or the global giant that 1000's of people can vouch for....??there are ways so you can do it manual. either way I'm just saying it seems like the one I was wondering about sounds better. We're just debating. I have noticed over the time of my membership of this forum people seem to stick with only a few select stores on the WWW. Why? I think a comparison is in need. pros, and cons. I'm not trying to diss any body or seem rude, it just that I don't want to make a mistake. With online stores return shipping isn't really covered by the store.
I don't know, This has better ratings AND by more people, just not on that web site. Its has a 4.7 out of 5 by 24 people. Can you really tell me that that MOBO is better?
