beginner computer

That is extremely vague...what are you going to be doing with the computer, do you want to buy a pre-built or save money and build it yourself...there are loads of decisions you need to make before you even start looking for a computer/parts.

im not really looking to build i want a prebuilt that is upgradable i ont know a whole lot about computers i probably will use it for games.

Well, if you're going prebuilt, look for maybe a Dell...I don't really have any recomendations for prebuilt comps except stay away from HP/compaq.

Theres nothing wrong with Hp.

I have one and upgraded it with no problems so far.

Infact ive had mine 3 years now and its still running strong.

Look, I was giving my opinion. In my personal experience, I would recommend that you stay away from HP/Compaq. From you guys so quickly refuting me, I would say your experiences have been better.

Wtf Dells are the least upgradable... HP is by far the best company to buy from in terms of price and performance. I took a hammer to my last Dell... Then went and bought an hp.

Yea I add a hearty wtf....Dell is the worst company to buy from for upgradeablility.....

Of course HP isn't a whole lot better, I've owned both, and would recommend neither.

Dells are harder, due to all teh proprietary components (like the crappy little green tunnel to cool the CPU)
