I don't have any pictures of a few old "boat anchors" I ran years back. sorry about that! :P But I'll see if I can come up with a picture of an Epson HX-20 notebook that loaded programs off of a 30 or 60 minute microcasstte. :D

Amazing! I finally foud a link for the old clunker! http://www.xs4all.nl/~fjkraan/comp/hx20/

Digital Venturis FX5133:
96MB of SIMM RAM
133MHZ Pentium I
4.3GB Quantum HD
24/10/40 AOpen CD-RW
SB PCI 16 soundcard
1MB integrated SiS video
Windows 95 OSR2
MSRP for the bare CPU pizza box alone with 32MB of RAM was approximately US$2800 in 1997. The keyboard, mouse, cables, soundcard, CD-ROM, OS, etc. were all extra "options".
I had to toss the 14" DEC monitor when it blew up on me. MSRP for that was $750...

It's my backup box just in case this one goes on the fritz... it still works.

Throw some Linux on it and you'll have it up and going as the primary case soon enough! :P

i can post my current computer as socket 939 is not produced anymore lol.. thats the first thing that came to mind when i read this thread's title... so sad...

Maybe tomorrow I'll post my Mac SE FDHD in all it's black and white glory ;) And yes, for those of you who didn't know, the "compact macs" only display black and white. The SE/30 apparently could display shades, but only with some mods.

the first macs i came in contact with were appleIIgs i think thats what they called them when i was in elementary school. even those had colour hehe

I've got a Mac from around the late 1970's if anyone wants to see a picture of it... Not sure of the model, but it's heavy, ugly, big, etc... :P

Here's some old junk I found lying around the house:

ISA Soundcards

Intel Celeron Slot 1; I think it ran at 433 MHz.
