I want to purchase a nice cpu cooler.
6300 needs to OC it high, and run it stable.
under $60

And should i get a gpu cooler to?

thanks

Are all of those good?
Doesnt have to be at $60.
Just thought that, thats a reasonable price for a decent cooler, correct?

And thank you.

Well, Yeah, they seem to be good, I can't vouge for any of them personally since i'm using the stock HSF that comes with the e6300 because i don't oc. I'm sure someone will back me up, on certain coolers saying some give better bang for the buck, and others will suggest others. If I was going to upgrade, I'll get one of the ones I showed you, since they all seem to be fairly quiet.

From personal experience, I'd recommend any of these:

Zalman CNPS9700
Zalman CNPS9500
Thermaltake Big Typhoon
Sunbeam Tuniq Tower 120

The main thing to watch for when using the Zalman 9500 or 9700 is that the Northbridge and the memory don't get too hot.

Basically all the good air coolers are large. The only good coolers that are small and flat are water coolers :D

To play half life 2 i need like 2.9GHz.
Can I overclock my cpu above that? into the 3.(?)GHz section.
With that zalman keeping it stable?

And AS5?

If you are going to buy the Zalman, I strongly recommend buying an extra fan to cool the Northbridge off.
