Help With Onboard Graphics

I recently purchased an older computer for use as a 2nd computer behind my main one.... It's an old Acer Veriton, 1.8ghz pentium 4, 256 ram and intel extreme onboard graphics....

I had a look inside and I can't see anywhere to put a Video Card.... can anyone help me?

Can you put a picture of it up?

It's probably going to use a PCI slot, or maybe an AGP.

Yeah, Could you post a picture of the inside please?

Many prebuilt machines simply just don't have a PCI-E or AGP... but they do make PCI cards. They aren't as good, but if you want a boost in game performance without buying a new computer, it's an option to consider.

I would avoid PCI Video cards like plague because they are not very widespread and their performance are greatly hindered by the bandwidth of the PCI lane. Doesn't your motherboard have an AGP slot? Even most P3 motherboards have an AGP slot.

It looks like that some models of that board has a AGP slot, see were one could have went, but they decided not to put one on that model. So your stuck with using a PCI card.
