The e6600 is now $235 with a free game, the e6400 is now $196, and the e6300 is now $176. I'm sure the prices will drop even more tomorrow when they release the new processors. Can any1 post a link that showed all the processors and their prices after the price cut. Thanks.

Yeah, but they won't stay at a balance price until one is gone. E6420 will probably go for $196, and E6400 will probably go for $185 or something like that. The 6400 will end up being off the list by Q3. I haven't talked to my insider that works for Intel lately. Hmm, I need to get some more info.

Same here...I plan on ordering all my parts in a few days. It's going to be my first build, I'm going to use the E6600(even though I could probably save $50 if I use the E6420). I'm jumping right in and going to be building an $1100 build(actual parts come out to $1030, but because I live in NJ I have to pay tax

Damn, that sucks. You shoulda paid attention to this forum becuase I've known about the Price cuts for atleast 2 months. And the Q6600 is supposed to drop to $266 in Q3(which is july or August). I'll probably pick one up towards the end of the year if it's really that price.

like i said a while back, i think the e6600 is probably going to be the best deal after the price cuts, at least for a while. that's only because it doesn't have a replacement counterpart like the 63 or 6400 has. newegg has it at $235 with a free supreme commander game right now.

Go with the E6600.......Good Luck, I remember my first build, went great, if not for the finicky sound drivers.
