with the 7100gs vid card yes it will, if you upgrade the vid card i would get a new power supply as well

if i were to get a new one what PSU would you suggest? i am thinking about something over 600W? but i don't know how to tell whats a quality PSU and what is not.

Yeah that psu will be fine, if you wanted to upgrade for the future i would suggest something like a Corsair or OCZ model PSU

will the stock PSU work with x1950pro?

what corsair PSU fits my motherboard?? i have no idea how do you tell these things

is there any other quality PSU thats as good as corsair? because corsairs looks pretty expensive. i am thinking about 600 + Watts PSU but i don't know if thats strong enough for my 8800gts SLI later

corsair's best PSU is 620W correct? will that be plentiful enough ? even later new cards come out and i want to do SLI and it would be still enough?

what is a reasonable priced PSU that is compatiable with my motherboard and able to support 2 x 8800gts ( SLI )

thanks guys

well, there you go, video cards cannot ever take more then 225W, its as simple as that... oh and i dont suggest going from stock to 1950 to gts either, you could get a gts now, and actually save money in the long run, because by the time you get tired of the 1900, the 8800GTS wont be able to do much better, especially with all the new games coming out

You would still have to check the amps on the 12v rails, and make sure the PSU comes with the required connectors.

i already have a x1950 pro right here next to me. so i am thinking about using it until the price drop for 8800 series.then i will buy them.

so TruePower Quattro 850W is better than corsair hx620? everybody agrees?? yess??
