Addicting Games

What are some addictive games for the PC.
That play on XP and Vista, but mainly XP. Play well on a core 2 duo, 1 to 2gb of RAM, decent graphic card. Stuff like that.

Compare it to my rig in the sig. If I can find a laptop with comparable specs, then yeah.

I'd like there to be a campaign and multiplayer.

And addicting.

Oh yeah CSS was very addictive too, but its not a very good single player game, I always find Bots very boring and predictable.

Diablo series (god i never got sleep with them)

I generally get immediately addicted to any game I haven't yet finished, and plays decent (so this list could have been muuuuuuucccchhh longer )

Rainbow Six: Vegas is great. It's out for 360 and PC.

Umm....Quake 4 is a great game for PC and has a decent campaign and awesome multiplayer and its only like $20.

in oblivion you dont walk across vast areas, you can speed-travel, and get to your destination in the amount of time it takes to load lol. the fighting is epic, with power strikes and hit placement actually playing a roll, as well as active blocking, instead of passive in morrowind, and the storyline is very addicting

starcraft - I just cant get enought of this by fighting againest better and better player online
