I'm getting the A900 very soon as some of you might now... I was wondering, is it worth me getting the Tuniq Tower... I already have the AC 7 Pro, would it be worth £30 ($60)?

i don't really think it'd be worth the price hike considering you already have a good one. from stock, yeah. but where you are at now, probably not.

i think it'd be worth it.
it's considered to be a very very silent tough good cooler.
read up on some reviews if you like.
It's comparable to my cpu cooler (see sig) and my cpu doesn't get above 49 under load.
and it's oc'ed to 3.3ghz at 1.475v.

Haha, thanks Taylor ;)

Yeah, I'veread that it's quiet too...
I'm just trying to see if it'll be worth the price?

Yeah, I would think the difference would be very minimal, 5% at most. I would save for a future upgrade. Here's a comparison of the two from Anand.

I've also read that some people have had problems fitting it on the Gigabyte 965P-S3?

Also, I've got a 120mm fan that moves 120cfm, would it be better putting that on over the stock fan that comes with it?

I'm going to OC when I get the new case... I don't plan on getting a new CPU for a while either... change your mind at all?

If you really want to overclock, i suppose it would be worth it. ;)

It will perform better than the AC 7, have you looked into the zerotherm nirvana or thermalright 120?

if you look at the overclocks on the previous page i think the difference is negligible. 50mhz heh...save the money!

Thats highest clock, one cooler could do 3.9ghz at 70c load, while the other does 3.9ghz at 60c load. Look at the temps ;)

one of my concerns at the moment is having the Tuniq in the Antec 900, I've read that people can't get a fan on the side with the Tuniq Tower?
