My budget range from AUD$745 to AUD$800. Currently, i have come out with the following specs:

2) Processor : Intel E4600 core 2 duo

3) RAM memory : 2G Kit-667(2x1G)kingston

4) Hardisk : WD SATA 500 GB v1.11

5) Video Card : 512M 8500GT ASUS

6) Case : 500 watts above and must be around $55

7) Monitor : any brand 19 inch

Please help me especially give me review of this specs(pros and cons). Keyboard and mouse and speaker, i can use my current ones.

I'm sure that some of the other guys here will be able to give you a fuller answer, but I would point you towards the E8000 series processors and the P35 based motherboards. So perhaps an E8200 on a Gigabyte GA-P35-DSL3?

Also if you want to do any gaming, that graphics card is next to useless. But that depends on what you want to use the system for =]

I'd try and get a better processor but look at different companies and find the cheapest. Everything else seems really good.

thanks for the reply. the processors which you mentioned is expensive. I forgot to mention.. sori. it's usually for gaming such as CS source, dota, warcraft. I am using it for 12 hours per day. once again thanks.

The main purpose of this new system is to play games such as warcraft, dota, CS source, listening to the music and watching Utube.

That processor will work just fine for your uses. That GF 8500GT will probably play those games pretty decently, but I would upgrade it if you can. The GF 8600GT would be a good performer for your needs...and still at a cheaper price.

If you prepare to game with that sort of budget, you'd better to get E2XXX with aftermarket heatsink + 9600GT, then overclock the system.
Also, Mobo get P35 chipset instead.
