alls I need is the 1000W ultra powersup.

intel pwns amd in the quad core department. ;)

and you should have gone for a Intel Quad,Not AMD :)
 
nice, but ther is no OS that reads 8gigs of memory, Intel quad is better the AMD...other then that, do u have it, or is it a plan and how much is gonna/did it COST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek:

took the words out of my mouth! However, if I had that system..I would be proud of it, that is some hardware to gloat about, aside from the AMD CPU :P

Every Windows 64 bit OS can read 8GB of RAM. Vista x64 alone can read 128GB of RAM (except Home).
 
well the reason I went amd is everyone flames it, so I'm goinna give it a shot myself, worst case scenario is I shell out for a new mobo and cpu.
and it's all purchased except for one hdd and a power sup.

it ill be expensive and though seen as overkill by other members i approve of it as long as your going to keep it for a while, dont worry it'll last for ages. well done, it makes mine look like a speck of dust on it fan, beautiful system!
 
i read on the net that a company pushed it to 3ghz without adjusting the voltage and 3.1 with adjusting the voltage easily
so I figure 3g isnt a big deal, it will double my framerates and half my times
