That's a great deal, especially if a set-top box was hooked up to it, that would make a cheap and great HDTV.

how come resolution is only equal to a 24" monitor?
All the 24", 26", and 28" LCD monitors on Newegg have a maximum resolution of 1920x1200. The 30" LCD's have a resolution of 2560x1600 or so, but those are about $1,200+.

Hanns-G is an amazing brand for the price, I own one of their 19"W, so far it's been great! :)
They are for sure! I used to have a smaller one before and it was great, I hope this one is to.

Yes you heard right, I bought it (along with a few other upgrades) :D

Don't get me wrong, the 3870's are great. But at that resolution.. any single card setup is going to scream for help! :p

Thats what the E8400 I bought along with this will be for :)

The E2200 is bottlenecking my system now, I'm hoping to be able to handle 1920x1200 at least until the 4800 series comes out.

You shouldn't have much of a problem since you play TF2 most of the time anyway.

Geoff, based on that ^ I think that you selling your old Q6600 system was just an excuse to get a new E8400 build! :p :p

haha, well I've been looking at that 28" LCD for a while. It was on sale for $500, but then went back up to $550 + $25 shipping, once I saw this I just had to get it. And of course I need a better computer to play at those resolutions! :D

Once the 4800 series comes out, I'm getting myself one of the 4870's.

how can you tell your e2200 is the bottleneck? gaming is strictly GPU, isn't it not?

Oh no, the processor makes a difference as well.

I'm just assuming it's the processor, as the CPU usage in the middle of a huge fire fight is always at or near 100%, while I'm getting low FPS.

Nice! i hope you get a good overclocking chip!

On air, for 4.0Ghz i would say its safe up to 1.35v for 24/7 use ;) (also download and use Real Temp for these)
