Mobo: Get Asus/Gigabyte P45 chipset board. E.g. Asus P5Q Pro/ Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R

Video: US price for 9800GTX already down to $200 (AUS$208). Don't get 9800GTX for AUS$389!
If you can't find it cheaper, Get ATI HD4850. It is at similar performance and you should find it around AUS$200 (I guess, as US is $180)

You can't prove he was suggesting pirating. He said Windows "OS" i.e., the software. He didn't say crack or key generator. Downloading the software is perfectly legal if, say, you've lost your CD or DVD but still have the key.

Not according to the license agreement. It's illegal to download anything copywritten from a torrent site, via P2P, etc.

Well, I would still do it. Why would someone buy the OS again even though they have a valid CD key? They are basically paying for the "Genuine Windows" part of it, not the OS itself, since software can be infinitely copied.

Do whatever you want. Just don't discuss it at CF. :)
