CD Burning Software

I'm looking for a simple program that can burn a CD with mp3 files that can be formatted to play on a non-mp3 player. Windows Media can only go so far...

Free or trial versions...any suggestions? Thanks!

window media can burn normal audio cds which play on non mp3 players.......?

All older CD players can only play .WAV files.

oh right.... why not just burn the CDs in a wav format?

thats wrong. they are not any sort of file, they are just audio.

WAV is compatable with red book, its encoded in PCM so it will play just fine on older cd players. WAV is just a data format so it can be played on computers or CD players. Plus there not just audio, like you said. CDs that are bought in a store are in cda. format
