Is this a good deal?

i found for sale an Intel Core 2 Duo e6600 and a Nvidia 8800GTS 320mb on craigslist for $200 for both. Do you think this is a good deal? and how much better would that 8800 be compared to my 7950GT OC?

the 8800 will have a significant improvement over the 7950. i heard the 7950 is like a 8600gts.

is it 200 dollars for both? that's a great deal.

yes for $200 i would get the cpu and the g-card

No way! The 7950GT is a great card, the 8600 isn't!

Actually for the price, the 8600GTS is a pretty nice card for average gaming

But yeah, that deal is awesome, go for it! the CPU alone is worth ~$140

My dad has a 8600GT and its not bad

It runs FEAR, Armed Assault. Battlefield2, Cod4 on fairly high settings.

someone told me from some forum, i think it's this one that iirc the 7900 or 7950 is like a 8600gts. >.<

the 7900 is very close to the 8600. the 8800 is nothing like it in terms of speed.

Its a pretty decent deal, the 8800GTS is slighty outdated but for $100 for ea part, thats a steal!

Just make sure they work. I'd try and test them first.....
