I have a Dell Inspiron B120 and I cant burn music from my itunes library or my Sonic Digital Media (which came with the computer). I place the blank CD in the compartment and press burn. It makes the noise like its burning and it will actually show each song being downloaded but nothing is on the CD. It still reads blank. I have been able to burn music in the past. Also I am able to copy CDs. Please help!!

Try different software and if that doesn't work your burner may be bad.

Also something to consider, depending on which version of iTunes you have, it limits what you can and cannot burn. If it is music purchased through iTunes store and you are trying to burn a playlist containing a file (song) purchased as part of an album, it will not let you. I am not sure if what you're getting is how it deals w/that, or if it would instead give you an error message. Based on memory, I think it's itunes 6 forward. You may want to do some google searching ab itunes and their wacky right protection crap to see if that's the problem. If it is, use amazon to dl buy music.
