I was looking at Asus because i've heard that they're reliable. But how is Gigabyte?

I don't need SLI or crossfire. I don't need onboard video.

What do you guys think? Anything particular i should take note of? thanks thanks :)

Asus and Gigabyte are equal companies to me.

When i come to buying a new Intel board i'll be torn between these two companies again for sure.

But.. I think i'd probably go for the DS3L. Lots of people have it, i've seen no complaints about it and it's a good overclocker so i've heard. Plus it's in the middle price-wise. :)

Couple things.

I assume you are getting a new cpu, other than the one listed in your sig, which is AMD, and obviously won't work.

Despite what was said above...

Asus & Gigabyte are not equal.

Asus is a far superior company and support their products with an excellent warranty.

Gigabyte, in my opinion, is a budget mobo company that makes average products.

However, that particular Asus board is nothing special and in a choice between those 3 you've selected--you would be hard pressed to understand how Quality Asus really is.
