there have been some rumors arround of a vulnerability in the us
version of the login page of paypal.
appearently someone was able to exploit it.
some paypal accounts has been hacked.
not to worry paypal is working on this issue and they keeps a log of
all the transfers so they should be able to get your money back

this is a phishing site, it doesnt scan your computer it simply mimic's what paypal looks like so you end up sending the guys who made it your details.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FILL THE LOGIN BOXES OUT

Dang, Hugh. You beat me to it!

I was just going to say, of all the internet forums in the world, they choose to put a link up on a Computer Forum, where we're not completely retarded regarding computers.

unfortunately there isnt a mod online who can delete this thread, it has been reported in the mod's area and will be dealt with as soon as one comes online, the best thing everyone can do right now is stop posting in it and let it fall to the bottom of the post listings

All kiddin aside. happened a lot. the link is gone or would have left it alone.
i started to post and thought nobody would be interested. Thought again and said, yea, lets do it. Not everybody pays attention to where there surfing and how they got there. a lot of times you can be redirected because of a mispelled link and take you to something similar. ya get there and think its a secure site, ya see a encrypted key in the bottom near the system tray and think even maybe its encrypted. I wonder how many of you actually double click the encryption key to find out if its even valid?
I blew this off and decided not to post. Always had a problem though with not copying. it was a matter of paste to finish it off. i did.

Sorry, know ya want to let this go and sink to the bottom. Have one statement though. ive been made aware many time about rereading the link to my wife when addressing paypal. On the otherhand not everybody is smart and informed about do's and dont's. I will say and what i wanted to say was don't open a paypal on your personal account. open up a new checking account. keep your account seperate.

now my wife does a large sale on ebay. maybe close to 5000 sales.
DON'T use your personal account. keep it seperate.
Always read your link when when getting there. Https ring a bell. how many even know what it stand for?

just a thought .......cheers.....
